Justin Thomas won the PGA Championship for a second time in the playoffs against Will Zalatoris.
Thomas won the PGA Championship and his second Wanamaker Trophy in a three-hole aggregate against Will Zalatoris.
Thomas came home with four birdies in his final 10 holes and went down to 5 under by signing for a 3 under-par 67.
Then birdies were made on the first two additional holes on Par-5 13th and Par-4 17th.
The 104th edition of the PGA also will be remembered for the brutal ending to Pereira’s Cinderella story.
Playing in his second Major and first PGA, Pereira took a 3-shot lead in the final round.
Zalatoris, the 36-hole leader, made key 8 footers for birdies on the 71st and 72nd holes and finished with 71.
Perera finished with 75 and 4 under while Cameron Young was with Perera at 4 under, who took a lead in the first round.
