20-year-old Noah Thompson, an unassuming construction worker from the small town of Louisa, Kentucky, won Season 20.

He sang along with fellow contestants Huntergirl and Leah Marlene to crown "American Idol" in the finale.

Thompson showed up on stage for the first time wearing a suit as he performed "Stay." by Rihanna.

First audition opposite "American Idol" judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, it's been quite a journey.
